The Mars Hill Network, a nonprofit group of Christian radio stations heard in the Cornwall area, devotes three days in March to raising awareness and financial support.
Careathon, an annual effort to support the Mars Hill Network, airs March 14-16 with the theme “Let Light Shine Out of Darkness.” Local, regional and national guests join on-air personalities to endorse the life-changing ministry of this listener-supported network.
Careathon volunteers will take pledges 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. March 14 and 15 and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. March 16 at 800-677-1881 toll free. Pledges and gifts can also be made at www.marshillnetwork.org, the Mars Hill Network’s secure website. All gifts are tax-deductible.
The Mars Hill Network has been broadcasting the good news of Jesus Christ through music and programming since 1969. Beginning in Syracuse, NY, its signal now covers central, northern and western New York, the Southern Tier, eastern Long Island and Cornwall and Kingston in Canada, thanks to the ongoing support of its radio audience.
The Mars Hill Network is heard in the Cornwall area at 90.1FM.
