BREACHES

Cornwall, ON- Richard Herne, 32 of Cornwall was arrested on February 19th, 2013. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on February 15th, 2013 he failed to attend the Cornwall Community Police Service for fingerprints. He was charged with fail to attend for fingerprints and fail to comply with Undertaking. He was held in custody until court later that day.

Cornwall, ON- Adam Helmer, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on February 19th, 2013. He was bound by two Probation Orders with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour as well as a Recognizance with the relevant condition not to associate or communicate directly or indirectly with a certain male. It is alleged that on February 10th, 2013 he was with the said male. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance and Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court later that day.

Cornwall, ON- Donald Bergeron, 36 of Cornwall was arrested on February 19th, 2013. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions of not attending a public park or swimming area where persons under the age of 16 years are present or can reasonably be expected to be present or a daycare center, school ground, playground or community center. It is alleged that between February 16th and 18th, 2013 he was observed to be at the Cornwall Civic Complex. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Breach of Probation Order and held in custody until court the following day.

Cornwall, ON- Kevin Sunday, 43 of Akwesasne was arrested on February 20th, 2013. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions of Keep the peace and be of good behaviour, Abstain from being in the physical presence of a certain female, Abstain from communicating or attempting to communicate in any manner with the female and formally abstain from consuming any alcoholic beverages. He is also bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to abstain from communicating or attempting to communicate in any manner with the same female. It is alleged that on February 20th, 2013 shortly prior to 5:30 pm he attended the Canada Border Services Agency and was in the company of the said female and under the influence of alcohol. He was detained and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division. He was charged with 4 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court the following day.

THEFT & BREACH

Cornwall, ON- Kellen Sunday, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on February 19th, 2013. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on February 19th, 2013 he attended a Vincent Massey Drive store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. He was detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division. He was charged with Theft under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. He was held in custody until court later that day.

It is alleged that on February 20th, 2013 she attended a Vincent Massey Drive store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. She was detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol division. She was charged with Theft under $5000 and Breach of Probation Order. She was released to appear in court on March 28th, 2013.

THEFT

Cornwall, ON- Donna Marsolais, 39 of Cornwall was arrested on February 19th, 2013. It is alleged that on February 19th, 2013 she attended a Vincent Massey Drive store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. She was detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol division. She was charged with Theft under $5000 and released to appear in court on March 28th, 2013.

Cornwall, ON- Hicham Azri, 38 of Toronto and Yassine Amarzak, 25 of Montreal were arrested on February 20th, 2013. It is alleged that on February 20th, 2013 they attended a Water Street store when they removed property without making any attempt to pay for the item. They were detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officers and turned over to members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division. They were charged with Theft under $5000 and released to appear in court on March 28th, 2013.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON- A 45-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 19th, 2013. He is bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on February 19th, 2013 he got into an altercation with his 42-year-old wife when he assaulted her. She suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault and held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released it would identify the victim in this matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT & THREATS

Cornwall, ON- A 43-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 20th, 2013. It is alleged that between February 1st and 15th, 2013, he got into two altercations with his 59-year-old ex-common-law wife when he threaten and assaulted her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of Domestic Assault and 2 counts of Threats. He was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON- Meghan Barnes, 32 of Cornwall was arrested on February 20th, 2013 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that she failed to attend court on February 19th, 2013 and a bench warrant was issued. She turned herself in and was held in custody until court later that day.

CAUSE DISTURBANCE & ASSAULT POLICE

Cornwall, ON- Kristen Hewitt, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on February 20th, 2013. It is alleged that on February 20th, 2013 while at the hospital she was causing a disturbance by yelling and swearing. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. Upon her arrest, she assaulted a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division. The Police Officer did not require medical treatment. She was charged with Cause a Disturbance and Assault a Police Officer. She was released to appear on court on March 28th, 2013.
