Cornwall Colts win 7-1 Thursday night!

Cornwall Ontario —  The Cornwall Colts defeated Nepean 7-1 Thursday night at the Ed Lumley Arena. The Colts remain in first place in the Robinson Division, and are neck in neck with Yzerman Division leader Ottawa for top spot in the CCHL.

Colts goalie Jordan Piccolino played a stellar game making 45 saves. He missed getting the shutout when Nepean’s Brent Norris scored a late third period goal.

Scoring for the Colts were Brandon Howes with two goals, Anthony Sanniti, Mitch Zion, Michael Pontarelli, Marly Quince, and Gran Cooper.

Michael Pontarelli’s one goal and two assists this evening added to his team lead in points, already having scored an impressive 104 points in just 52 games this season.
