Cornwall Ontario — Stormont-Dundas South Glengarry Federal Liberal Association President Del Jones today invited residents of the area to come and join Federal Liberals in viewing the last leadership all-candidate’s debate.

“We will be hosting a “Pints and Politics” gathering at the Knights of Columbus Hall 205 Amelia St. in Cornwall on Saturday March 23rd from 1-3 p.m.,” said Mr. Jones.

This will be an opportunity for Liberal Members, Supporters and anyone interested in the leadership process to come and watch the televised debate from Montreal and share comments, observations and ask questions with others interested in the political process.

Those interested in taking part in the selection of the next leader of the Liberal Party of Canada had until March 3rd to either buy a membership or to become a supporter to be eligible to vote in the leadership process. Members and supporters eligible to vote have until March 21 to register. Anyone that has not registered to vote should call the Liberal Party of Canada at 613-237-0740 and register by phone.
