Cornwall Colts upset Carleton Place Canadiens 2-1 in Game 7 hockey thriller

On Monday night it was the heroics of league MVP Michael Pontarelli that helped force a Game 7 and kept the Cornwall Colts post-season alive for Game 7. The Cornwall Colts delivered at the Carleton Place Arena defeating the Canadiens 2-1 Wednesday night to advance. Alexandre Gendron and Billy Ulrick scored for Cornwall, and Luke Martin scored for Carleton Place. The Colts were out shot 41 to 25 but Jordan Piccolino was fantastic stopping 40 of 41 shots!
