Eastern Ontario Health Unit reminds us: Spring is finally here! It’s time to lace up your shoes and get moving with the On the Go 2013 challenge!

Kids’ event taking place July 10 promotes healthy lifestyles, sense of accomplishment and lots of fun!

The challenge starts May 6 and is all about getting people in Eastern Ontario like you to become more physically active and increase your intake of fruits and vegetables.

Take the challenge and you could win a $ 100 gift certificate to a sports equipment store as well as a Green Food Box filled with nutritious fruits and vegetables every month for an entire year!

There will be one winner per county and one for Cornwall, for a total of six prizes.

The contest is open to everyone 18 and over who lives or works in the counties of Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Prescott, Russell, or the city of Cornwall.

Registration is free and will take place between April 15 and May 6. Visit www.eohu.ca/onthego for more information and to register.
