“David Suzuki – Wake Up Canada” will be aired on TVCOGECO channels across Ontario including Cornwall on Thursday, April 25 from 10am-12pm from the WFCU Centre in Windsor.

Dr. Suzuki will be speaking to thousands of students from school boards across Windsor/Essex County about the importance of protecting our environment, climate change, and the policies around these issues. He will also talk about how this is affecting our water, air and food.

“Cogeco’s corporate social responsibility program includes addressing environmental concerns such as vehicle idle time and the disposal of our e-waste” states Tim Caddigan, Cogeco Senior Director, TVCOGECO & Community Relations. “We believe in the importance of every business and individual working together to preserve our environment. We are therefore pleased to provide our viewers with this presentation dedicated to educating students and raising awareness of Earth Week.”

“David Suzuki – Wake Up Canada” is also available for free, exclusively on TVCOGECO On Demand, channel 602, beginning April 29th.
