2nd place National Bikini Champion with Ontario Physique Tressia MurphyCornwall Ontario — Tressia Murphy doesn’t just stay physically fit, but instead she is constantly challenging herself to reach new heights. She is entering competitions, and she is achieving remarkable things at both the national and international level.

Murphy competed at the February 27th Arnold Amateur Sports Festival in which she finished 9th place worldwide in her respective division.

On April 27th Tressia Murphy competed at the Canadian Natural National Championships/IFBB World Qualifier. There were 11 masters bikini competitors in total from across Canada, and Murphy finished in 2nd place.

It is an impressive accomplishment, however 2nd place at that competition did not earn Murphy a Procard.

“Unfortunately, as nice as it is to be a 2nd place National Bikini Champion, there was not a ProCard for second! Also, it doesn’t look as though my placing earned me a spot on Team Canada for the World’s this year. I was planning to take the summer off, but have now decided to compete at the North American’s in Pittsburg on August 30th. They have a competitors from Canada, USA, and Mexico. They also award the top 3 placings a ProCard, which would finally allow me to compete for cash awards”, explains Murphy.

The cost to compete at a show is about two-thousand dollars. If a local business or person would like to help sponsor Murphy’s next competition they can contact Tressia at this email: [email protected] .

Best of luck in Pittsburg on August 30th, and keep up the amazing work! Cornwall Ontario is cheering you on!!
