Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigating a Break & Enter that occurred between May 27th and 28th, 2013 at a Marleau Avenue business. The suspect(s) gained entry and removed various frozen meats. The suspect(s) also caused damaged to a cube van. If you have any information regarding this break & enter, please contact the Service at 613-932-2110 or Crime Stoppers at 613-937-8477.

BREACHES

Cornwall, ON- A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 29th, 2013. The youth was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions to reside with surety at a certain Cornwall address, abide by the rules of that residence and not to be away from that residence between the hours of 9 PM and 7 AM except with surety. It is alleged that on May 28th, 2013 the youth left the residence alone and failed to return. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was located by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division and was charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance and held in custody until court later that day. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

DOMESTIC BREACH & PUBLIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON- A 42-year-old Cornwall women was arrested on May 29th, 2013. She was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions of not to associate or communicate directly or indirectly with her 34-year-old ex-boyfriend and not to attend his residence. It is alleged that on May 29th, 2013 she contacted police and reported that she was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend. Further investigation revealed that the allegations were false and that between May 17th and May 22nd, 2013 she attended his residence and had contact with his. She was charged with 6 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance and Public Mischief. Her name was not released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON- Davis Strain, 49 of Cornwall was arrested on May 29th, 2013 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on May 27th, 2013 an Order of Committal warrant was issued due to his surety being revoked. He turned himself in to police and was held in custody until court later that day.

OVER 80 & DISQUALIFIED DRIVER

Cornwall, ON- Kenneth Garlow, 51 of Cornwall was arrested on May 29th, 2013. It is alleged that on May 29th, 2013 shortly after 10:00 am he was found operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation revealed that he was a prohibited driver. He was charged with Over 80 and Disqualified Drive. He was released to appear in court at a later date.

DRUGS, ASSAULT POLICE

Cornwall, ON- Coty Dumouchel, 23 and Allyson Ingola, 21 both of Cornwall were arrested on May 29th, 2013. It is alleged that on May 29th, 2013 members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division responded to a disturbance when they found them in possession of a controlled substance believed to be marijuana. The female resisted arrested and attempted to assault a police officer. She was charged with Possession of a controlled substance and Assault with intent to resist. He was charged with Possession of a controlled substance. They were both released to appear in court on June 25th, 2013.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT & THREAT

Cornwall, ON- A 56-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 29th, 2013. It is alleged that on May 29th, 2013 he got into an altercation with his 53-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted and threaten her. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault and Utter Death Threats. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON- A 33-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 30th, 2013. It is alleged that during the early hours of May 30th, 2013 she got into an altercation with her 36-year-old boyfriend when she assaulted him. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Domestic Assault and held in custody until court the following day. Her name was not released as it may identify the victim in this incident.
