WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON- Steven Lavigne, 32 of Ottawa was arrested on May 2nd, 2013 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on October 17th, 2013 he defrauded a 30-year-old Cornwall women online. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Fraud under $5000 and released to appear in court later that day.

Cornwall, ON- Patrick St.Jean, 31of Long Sault was arrested on May 2nd, 2013 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on July 4th, 2012 he failed to attend court. He was held until court later that day.

Cornwall, ON- Jonathan Derochie, 39 of Cornwall was arrested on May 2nd, 2013 under the strength of outstanding warrants. It is alleged that on April 22nd, 2013 he failed to attend for court and a warrant was issued. He was held in custody until court later that day.

Cornwall, ON- Alexander Tarbell, 25 of Akwesasne was arrested on May 2nd, 2013 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on May 20th, 2010 he failed to comply with his conditions, namely that he report to his probation officer.. He was located and held in custody until court the following day.

THREATS & BREACH

Cornwall, ON- Frederick Renshaw, 48 of Cornwall was arrested on May 2nd, 2013. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on April 29th, 2013 he uttered threats to harm a 25-year-old female acquaintance. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Utter Death Threats and Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court later that day.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON- A 28-year-old Summerstown man was arrested on May 2nd, 2013. It is alleged that on May 2nd, 2013 he got into an altercation with his 30-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her and threaten to harm her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault and Utter Threats. He was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

DRUGS SEARCH WARRANT

Cornwall, ON- Members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Street Crime Unit successfully executed a search warrant shortly before 3:00 pm on May 2nd, 2013 at a Marlborough Street residence. As a result of the investigation 2 people were arrested and charged with 8 criminal code offences. It is alleged that they were found in possession of controlled substances. Police seized a quantity controlled substances believed to be marijuana and cocaine. The total value of seized drugs and property is estimated at $5900.

Corry Crowder, 27 of Cornwall was charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was released to appear in court at a later date.

Alisha Ingram, 25 of Cornwall was charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
