The Cornwall Scrabble Club is offering free scrabble tutorial sessions throughout the month of August at Cornwall Public Library.

The Scrabble Club is one of twenty-five Canadian clubs associated with the National Scrabble Association. It is a friendly, lightly competitive club that offers the possibility to play at all levels. Players are given the opportunity to play in some rated competitions in Ottawa, Montreal etc. Others prefer just the in house games. There is a format for every type of player however, everyone must adhere to the rules and regulations laid out by the National Scrabble Association as all players in the Association do.

August Tutorial Sessions.

Tutorial Sessions are being offered in August at the library to individuals wanting to learn the game and/or to improve one’s skills. The focus is mainly on teaching, coaching and encouraging prospective players and according to the rules and regulations of the National Scrabble Association
