Cornwall Ontario — Unofficial Mayoral Candidate Jamie Gilcig will be wearing his political activist hat this weekend. He is organizing a march this Saturday January 18th at 2pm from Guy Lauzon’s office to City Hall.

He says the purpose of this march is to “reinforce what Chuck Charlebois has been repeatedly stating. No tanks!”.

However Groupe Renaissance Group is not organizing the march this coming Saturday.

This will be a peaceful march, and City Police have been notified about it.

“I have cleared this event with Chuck and our Police Department and hope that Cornwall can pull together and that we can make this clear statement to those that make the decision”, says Mr. Gilcig.

Those who wish to participate should meet a few minutes before 2pm in front of Guy Lauzon’s office which is located at 621 Pitt Street in Cornwall Ontario.

In addition to the march, Cornwall residents can email Guy Lauzon to state their opinion about the Storage Tanks: info@guylauzon.ca
