Cornwall Ontario — Tracy Lalonde and Graham Greer played at the AGM for Your Arts Council of Cornwall & The Counties at Aultsville Theatre Monday night. Tracy Lalonde is an emerging artist who recently had an album release, and got some air play on CBC. The musical duet was well received by the audience.
There were about fifty people in attendance including many artists, business owners, and would be politicians. Chair of the Culture Advisory Committee Todd Bennett, Chair of TAG Carilyne Hébert, and Neo Vintage Furniture owner Guy St-Jean were all in attendance. The three are running for City Council.
Before the AGM Graham Greer, Angela Besner and Eric Covington were elected to join the Board of Directors. The Chair is Betty Healey, the secretary is Amanda Marini-Rohde, the Treasurer is Richard Salem, and the other directors are Marie Morrell, Carolyn H. Davis, and Noella Cotnam. The Executive Director of Your Arts Council is Bruce Davis.
Bruce Davis presented initiatives partnerships and activities and Betty Healey presented the strides made with governance, strategic direction and bylaws. Richard Salem provided a financial report. After a delightful second musical set that evening, those in attendance were permitted to ask questions. Some very intuitive questions were asked by those in attendance.
