
Cornwall Ontario – The LNAH playoffs are set to begin this weekend and the Cornwall River Kings will be looking to pull off an upset in Round 1.
Cornwall (7th seed) travels to Jonquiere (2nd seed) on Friday night to take on the defending playoff champion Marquis.
The first-round series resumes the following night at the Civic Complex, when the River Kings host Game 2. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
Cornwall was 1-4 vs. Dean Lygitsakos’ Marquis during the regular season but the teams haven’t met since Dec. 28. The River Kings are coming off an impressive 3-2 victory last Saturday over the Thetford-Mines Isothermic.

Playoff tickets are now on sale at the River Kings office. Tickets prices are $12 for adults, $9 for students and seniors and $5 for children under 12.
