Cornwall Ontario — The LNAH regular season concludes this weekend and the River Kings are looking to head into the playoffs on a high-note. Local fans will finally get a chance to welcome an old fan favourite back to town, as Simon Desormeaux makes his 2013-2014 debut on home ice this Saturday.
The former Cornwall Comets defenceman has suited up for the River Kings twice on the road this season. The rugged blueliner has 12 penalty minutes in two contests. Cornwall visits Sorel-Tracy on Friday night to take on the Eperviers. The following evening, the River Kings will play host to the Thetford-Mines Isothermic.
On Saturday night, tickets will be $8 for adults, seniors and students. Children 12 will be admitted for $5. Season ticket holders can use any unused previous game tickets for this game.
Playoff tickets will go on sale Tuesday, March 18th. Cornwall’s opponent in the best-of-seven first round series is yet to be determined. Tickets prices are $12 for adults, $9 for students and seniors and $5 for children under 12.
