Greer said that United Way SD&G has benefitted from the cooperation and generosity of local businesses, farmers and volunteers for this event. “Thank you to everyone involved – it couldn’t happen without each and every one of you”.
The fun run will have runners follow a marked course through the bush, including the Haunted Walk at McMaze, 17049 Willy Allan Road; St. Andrew’s West beginning at 9:00am. “It is a 5K run, complete with obstacles, zombies and a bit of spooky atmosphere”, says Sherry Davis, Program/Event Coordinator of United Way. “Participants had a great time last year and we’re excited to see everyone’s eager participation again this year”.
Those wishing to participate can still register for the event, up to and including the day of the run. “Runners can call 613-932-2051 or email [email protected] for more information.
