Ingleside Ontario – The Township of South Stormont council members and staff, St. Lawrence Medical Clinic doctors and staff, the Project Management team from CIBS Construction and members of the public attended the official opening of the new Ingleside Medical Clinic.
The new 6,400 square foot building, located across from the Ingleside Plaza, opened its doors for operations this week. The facility has 12 exam rooms, a state of the art ECG room and lab, convenient ambulance access, and provides the space required for patients, the teaching of medical students, and Interdisciplinary Healthcare Providers such as Physician Assistants, Mental Health Counselors and Community Nurses.
CIBS Construction Project Manager Francois Dion said, “It was a pleasure working with the Township of South Stormont on this project. In order to meet our client’s deadline, we had to implement a very aggressive schedule. Without the complete contribution of every member of the construction team, it would have been impossible to meet this schedule. We would like to personally thank Ross Gellately, Hilton Cryderman, Betty de Haan from South Stormont and Stephen McCann from St. Lawrence Medical Clinic for their involvement and dedication in the development of the project. We would also like to thank all the sub-trades that were involved on this project. It was a team effort and everyone delivered.”
Mayor McGillis stated, “Today is a great day; together as a community, we celebrate. I personally wish to congratulate everyone in accomplishing this project. The newly constructed St. Lawrence Medical Clinic in Ingleside secures the future of medical practitioners for our community, and for the region. We look forward to our continued relationship with the medical professionals located in South Stormont.”
