Five Questions with rabble.ca Editor Nick Seebruch

Residents are asked to please keep the following rules in mind:

– Do not place garbage bags or blue box materials on top of snow banks.

– Clear snow to ground level at the end of your driveway or near the curb where garbage and blue box materials are to be placed for collection.

– During winter weather conditions, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to expose and loosen garbage & recyclables covered by snow or blocked by snow removal equipment.

The City of Cornwall thanks all residents for their cooperation.

Reminder – Christmas Tree Collection

Christmas trees will be collected separately during the period of January 5 to January 16.

Please place the tree at the curb on your regular collection day for collection by a separate truck.

Be sure to remove all tinsel, ornaments, plastic bags and tree stands. Christmas trees buried in a snowbank will not be collected.
