On Tuesday the Maple leafs beat the Stars 5-3. In the 1st period, James Van Riemsdyk scored to make it 1-0 for the leafs followed by Nazem Kadri’s 6th goal this season to make the score 2-0. In the 2nd period Phil Kessel scored his 12th goal of the year and the one that made the game 3-0. Now, Ottawa with the puck, Erik Cole assists Jason Spezza to make the game 3-1. With 11 minutes and 29 seconds left in the 2nd period, Lupul scores for the leafs to make it 4-1. In the 3rd period, Ryan Garbutt scored to make it 4-2. The next goal to come was Joffrey Lupul’s 2nd to make the game 5-2.With 4 minutes and 35 seconds, Ales Hemsky scored to make the final score 5-3.
On Monday the Montreal Canadiens played against the Colorado Avalanche With the final score being 4-3 for the Habs. In period 1 Jiri Sekac scored for the habs to make it 1-0 followed by A former Hab, Daniel Brierre To make it 1-1. In the 2nd period, Ryan O’reilly scored and now the Avalanche are winning 2-1. After a pass from Alex Galchenyuk Andrei Markov scored to tie it. Tyson Barrie then scored to make it 3-2, Avs. Andrei Markov got 2 points by just now assisting P.K subban who tied it 3-3. With only 6 minutes and 6 seconds in the 3rd, Pacioretty scored to give the Habs the win.
The Ottawa Senators Lost to the Islanders on Tuesday 3-2 in OT. In period 1, Mike Hoffman scored to make the game 1-0 for the sens. In the 2nd period, Kyle Okposo assisted Brock Nelson who tied it 1-1. In period 3 Ryan Strome scored to give the Islanders the lea 2-1. Later that period, Clarke MacArthur scored to make it 2-2 which made the game go to OverTime. In OT, Thomas Hickey got the game winner for the Islanders. 3-2, Islanders.
