Cornwall Ontario — 2014 was a year of growth and major success for new business owners Jamie Maracle and partner Mathew Girgis of Vu Nightspot in Cornwall. Their goal to end 2014 and ring in the new year was all about giving back and thanking Cornwall for their continued support.

Vu Nightspot offered special VIP passes that included catering from Truffles Burger Bar, Schnitzels European Flavours and Brigitte’s Delicious Treats as well as general access passes to avoid any lines.

All patrons had the opportunity to blow horns, and wear festive hats provided by Vu Night Spot and all dressed to impress.

House DJ Touch Bass counted down to midnight, but instead of a ball drop Jamie and Matthew loaded up confetti guns with $1750 American dollar bills and had it rain money onto the crowd.

New Years Day Facebook blew up with gratitude and comments of the fun they had at Vu.

“We wanted to give back to our community as they have given so much back to us. Our goal in 2015 is to continue to reinvent the night life scene in Cornwall. We have great relationships with the core downtown and cant wait to develop a stronger community”, said Jamie Maracle.
