The final score for Sunday’s game was 11-3 for Team USA.

The United States had a quick start to the game getting four runs in the first inning. Canada managed to get three runs in the fourth inning, but were unable to rally from the early deficit. The USA quickly responded getting three more runs in the fifth inning and another three runs in the sixth inning. Cornwall’s Jenna Flannigan got one hit and one RBI in the Gold Medal match against the United States.

Canada earned the opportunity to play for the Gold medal with a victory in the bronze medal game. On Saturday Canada defeated Venezuela 6-1 in the Bronze medal game.
