Kings wrap up camp with Intrasquad game

CORNWALL – Julien Corriveau’s two goals sparked Team White to an 8-5 victory over Team Blue on Sunday night at the River Kings’ annual Intrasquad game.

Veteran goaltender Pete Karvouniaris and Julien Giroux backstopped Team White to the win in front of 310 spectators at the Civic Complex.

After the game, fans were treated to a shootout, highlighted by goals from Captain Brennan Barker and veteran defenceman Sasha Pokulok.

Despite the third day in a row on the ice, the game also featured several big hits and one fight, when veteran J.P. Caron dropped the gloves with

Cornwall’s pre-season schedule kicks off next Saturday (Sept. 12) with a home contest vs. Sorel-Tracy. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Complex.
