Seaway Food Festival Restaurant Week 001

Cornwall Ontario – Bastion Hospitality, creator of the Seaway Food Festival and Cornwall’s Summer Beer Fest, is excited to announce the return of Restaurant Week. This initiative is founded on the core principle of engaging consumers through a common shared experience of amazing local cuisine. Once again, we aim to spotlight our dynamic restaurant scene as well as offer a unique platform to socially engage connected consumers. The fixed-price menu provides a unique opportunity for patrons to try different local restaurants via an attractive price point.

Sebastien Manigat, Director of the Seaway Food Festival, adds: “With every edition we have seen tremendous growth, not only in the number of diners but also in the genuine enthusiasm from the community. The “foodies” and restaurateurs have embraced our concept and we are very humbled by the response and support we have seen since the Seaway Food Festival started two years ago.”

During the previous Restaurant Week we saw the addition of Peppermill’s (Best Western), Nautica Grill, and Love Love Food, bringing the total number of participating restaurants to 12. Patrons can expect those restaurants to participate, but the full list will not be released until mid-September. As usual, menus for each restaurant will be released the week prior, giving patrons ample time to make their decision.

Due to the immense success of Restaurant Week, patrons will notice a few changes this year: “It goes without saying that Restaurant Week has grown tremendously in the past two years and exceeded all of our expectations. Just last April, over 5 days, our 12 restaurants served over 4,000 customers and sold close to 2,600 Restaurant Week meals! Not to mention the number of customers that were turned away. This year to accommodate this enthusiasm, we are extending the week from 5 to 8 days and giving foodies two weekends to partake in the festivities. Further, we are adding a third price point at $34,” concluded Sebastien Manigat.

Officially Restaurant Week will be held over 8 days from October 13th to October 23rd, giving customers 2 weekends to participate: Thursday October 13th to Saturday October 15th, and Tuesday October 18th to October 22nd. Per usual, restaurants will offer 2 or 3 course meals for $24, $28, or $34. More details regarding the week will be released in the weeks to come.

If your restaurant would like to participate, please email us at info@bastionhospitality.ca

Previous Restaurant Week participating restaurants include Casa Paolo, Eight Zero Zero, Sticks Sports Bar & Grill, Maple Room Steakhouse, the Propeller, Bar Q, Moustache Joe’s, Truffles Burger Bar, Table 21, Schnitzels, Sheep’s Head Bistro, and ESCA Gourmet Pizza + Bar. The Director of the Seaway Food Festival is Sebastien (Mani) Manigat and the concept was created and conceived by Bastion Hospitality.
