Cornwall Colts defeat Nationals 4-3 in Overtime Thriller

Cornwall – Ethan Mulhearn’s 9th goal of the season was the overtime winner as the Cornwall Colts beat Rockland 4-3 at the Ed Lumley Arena Tuesday night.

The Nationals had forced overtime with two third period goals.

Brennan Markell and David Poirier each had a goal and an assist for the Colts.
Alex Wilkins also scored as the Colts improve to 29-23-4-2 (64pts) in 6th place in the CCHL standings.

Rockland outshot the Colts 30-26 with Liam Lascelle making 27 saves for the victory.

The Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Colts Player of the game was Alex Wilkins.
The Pizza Pizza Three Stars were First Star Ethan Mulhearn (COR), Second Star David Poirier (COR) and Third Star Raphael Gosselin (ROC).

The Colts’ next game is Thursday night when they host the Navan Grads. Game time is 7:30pm @ Ed Lumley Arena.
