Cornwall – Tristan Poissant’s fourth goal of the season broke a 2-2 tied in the 3rd period and the Colts went on to a 6-3 victory over Ottawa at the Ed Lumley Arena Thursday night.

Six different players scored for the Colts including Henry Bishop, Benjamin Dirven, Jacob Shankar, Jeremy Quesnel and Connor Amsley.  Tommy Tanner chipped in with three assists.  Konnor MacCormick had two assists.

The Jr. Sens outshot the Colts 41-34 with Michael Carr making 38 saves for the victory.

The Colts improve to 3-6-0-0 on the season.  The Colts have won their last 3 home games.

The Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Player of the game was Benjamin Dirven.

The Wendy’s Restaurant 3 Stars were First Star Tommy Tanner (COR), Second Star Tristan Poissant (COR) and Third Star Connor Smart (OTT).

The Colts play in Smiths Falls Friday night.  Game time is 7.

The Colts return home next Thursday, October 4th to host the Rockland Nationals.  Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
