Cornwall, Ontario – Former Cornwall Colts star Kyle Baun is a nominee for the 2015 Hobey Baker award which recognizes the top NCAA men’s hockey player.
Baun, a Junior at Colgate, leads the Raiders with 17 points in 18 games. His stats place him among the best in the ECAC – tied for 6th in goals and 7th in points.
Baun, 22, was also named to the All-Tournament Team at the Three Rivers Classic earlier this season.
During his time at Colgate, Baun was named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team as well as an ECAC All-Academic Team honoree.

Baun attended the Detroit Red Wings 2014 Development Camp along with former Colts teammates Tyson and Tylor Spink.
Kyle Baun spent two seasons with the Cornwall Colts (2010-11, 2011-12) amassing 103 points in 98 games before beginning his career with Colgate.
