Cornwall Ontario — The 25th Annual M&M Meat Shops Charity BBQ Day takes place Saturday May 11th on 841 Sydney Street in Cornwall from 10am to 4pm.
On May 11th, 2013, Canadians can help cook up a cure! Visit any M&M Meat Shops location across Canada to support the 25th Annual M&M Meat Shops Charity BBQ Day in support of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC).
M&M Meat Shops franchisees, staff and thousands of volunteers from coast-to-coast will grill hamburgers and hot dogs to meet the 2013 fundraising goal of $1.3 million.
This event is sponsored by Matt McGrath of Xtreme Soundzz DJ Service, who will be spinning music for the day. For Matt McGrath, this event hits close to home.
McGrah says, “This Charity hits very close to home as my wife has Crohns. The pain and suffering that I have seen my wife go through and all the surgeries to help control the Disease is what gives me the Heart to do this.
Finding a cure or even a reason for Crohns is very important to me. This is my 3rd year with M&M Meat Shop, it’s been growing every year that I have dedicated myself to this event to raise as much awareness and funding to CCFC.”
Visit any M&M location across Canada (including the one in Cornwall) to enjoy a hamburger or hot dog, a drink and a bag of chips for a minimum donation of only $3.00.
All proceeds go directly to the CCFC to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the lives of children and adults affected by these chronic diseases.
