Cornwall Ontario — “Cornwall and the War of 1812”, a full colour illustrated history of Cornwall’s role during this conflict will be launched at 7 pm on Thursday March 28th, at the Cornwall Community Museum.
This booklet will discuss the occupation and evacuation of Cornwall, some of the weapons used during the conflict, local personalities and much more.
Everyone is invited to attend this free event. Copies of the booklet will be available at the museum for $15, or $20 by mail. For mail, please make your cheque out to the SD & G Historical Society, PO Box 773, Cornwall, ON., K6H 5T5.
