Cornwall Ontario — Cornwall Square has issued an update to the repair and maintenance work underway on its parking garage. This is part of an ongoing effort to keep the community informed.
At Cornwall Square, one of our top priorities is the safety and well-being of our patrons, tenants and the broader community we serve. Being responsible for our facility and to the people we do business with is a key principle for both companies and it underlies everything we’re doing at Cornwall Square.
Two complex engineering projects have been undertaken in 2014. The first project entailed the replacement of the pedestrian bridges which connect the parking garage to the shopping centre. We are pleased to announce that this project was completed on September 30, 2014. The roadway between the parking garage and the shopping centre has been re-opened to two-way traffic.
The second project is the ongoing maintenance and repair of the parking garage; this project is scheduled to commence the second week of October 2014. This project will have minimal impact on vehicular and pedestrian traffic. A reputable national engineering firm has been retained for design services and review of construction activities associated with both projects. Our entire team is committed to the success of these projects.
To celebrate the completion of the pedestrian bridge replacement project and our 35th Anniversary, Cornwall Square is giving away a dream kitchen valued at $8,500, which includes Sears Kenmore Elite fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave and a $2,000 Emard Bros Lumber gift certificate.
