A band with a connection to Cornwall Ontario was nominated for a Juno Award. Despite Makeshift Innocence not winning, Jesse-James Cameron still described the experience of walking the red carpet and being there at the Juno’s as “inspiring”!
“It was simply overwhelming. An experience that will last a lifetime. Over the past couple days I have truly felt like I belonged. I can’t wait for next year”, says Cameron.
Despite not taking home the Juno, being nominated is a huge accomplishment, and Cornwall Ontario is very proud of you Jesse!
Also at the Junos – It was a big night for sing Carly Rae Jepsen who took home three Juno’s including Album of the year, while the Fan’s Choice Award went to Justin Bieber, and iconic Leonard Cohen won honoured as Artist of the Year.
