If you love to grill, you understand that your grill should have features that makes your cooking not only good but amazing. When you have a grill that is efficient and built with modern technology, it makes your cooking easy. Every year, new innovations keep rolling out for grills and it is always exciting to see the features a new product offers.

If you still have your old grill in your backyard, you may want to know the top five innovative technologies that you will find in today’s grills.

Automatic Cleaning System

Grills have gone beyond the primitive cooking system and we now have grills with one touch features. You know how difficult it is to get the ash out from your smoker, but you won’t need to worry about it if you have a modern grill. Grills now have a one-touch cleaner that does the cleaning in no time. What this feature does is clean out the ash and move it through the vent where it will be poured out in a bucket. You can then take out the bucket and get rid of the ash.

Sense-mate

There are now digital grills for barbeques and it makes your cooking a lot easier. With this feature, you can tell the temperature of your grill through the LCD screen, or better yet, on your smart phone. Grills with sense-mate can connect to your devices through WiFi so you can monitor your cooking even when you’re not beside the grill.

Smart smoke technology

This technology is also great because it helps you regulate your grill. With the smart smoke technology, you can set your pellet grill’s smoke between a high and low settings. Automatically the grill’s temperature will fluctuate when cooking to match the right temperature needed for it to cook properly. It does basically all the work you need to do.

Smart grill technology

This smart technology is also one of the latest features you will find in grills today. It allows you to set the right temperature for your cooking. The smart feature has provisions for 5-degree temperature intervals. If you are the type to always check on your cooking, this is pretty handy. When you open the grill and allow cold air to enter it, this smart feature will help keep the heat at the right temperature so your cooking isn’t affected.

Now, this tech isn’t available in all grills in the market. But if you get something like Weber and AOG grills, the whole grilling process will be more convenient.

Tru-infrared technology

Finally, we have the Tru-infrared technology which is unique and efficient. What this technology does is to use radiative heat transfer technology to cook your food. Grills with this technology are designed to prevent grease from touching the burners. Why this technology is great is that your food will cook faster and the heat will spread evenly. You also get juicy meat instead of a dry or hard steak.
