Cornwall Ontario — A full house rang in the New Year at Lola’s Pub, bearing witness to a rock n roll show for the ages.

Cornwall quartette Coldrift kicked things off with a powerful one hour set that brought the crowd to life and set the stage for the main event.

Oshawa rock/blues duo The Standstills had the crowd in the palm of their hands from note one and didn’t let go for almost two straight hours.

The first set contained fan favorites “Good God Damn” “Jesus” and “Black Betty” The second set they showcased material from their soon to be released untitled follow up to the critically acclaimed 2012 album “Pushing Electric”.
