The 20 year old Edwardson has been a part of the Colts organization since the 2010-11 season.

Edwardson’s Colts career record is 27-20-5 with 2.89 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.

Edwardson (6-5, 2.87, .901) was splitting goaltending duties with Liam Lascelle this season.

“It’s a good mutually agreeable opportunity for him,” said Colts Owner, General Manager and Coach Ian MacInnis.

The Colts host Carleton Place tomorrow (Thursday) night at the Ed Lumley Arena. It’s Teddy Bear Toss Game Day. Fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently used teddy bear or other stuffed animal to throw on the ice when the Colts score their first goal of the game or at the end of the first period, whichever comes first. In partnership with the Cornwall Optimist Club, all teddy bears will be given to less fortunate children in time for Christmas. Game time is 7:30pm.
