Music was centre stage at the 62nd Annual Kinsmen Music Festival
The Kinsmen Club of Cornwall celebrated 62 years of supporting and encouraging music and the arts in the community. The yearly event took place earlier this week and ended today with the Concert of the Stars.
“The Kinsmen Music Festival promotes a workshop style festival and performance experience in which the talents of each participant are celebrated and enhanced. The family, the music teacher(s) and adjudicator(s) act in unison in supporting the participant’s positive growth in musical skills, enjoyment of, and appreciation for music. It is not about winning, but rather it’s about the nurturing of a life-long appreciation for the value of music as the universal language of humanity.”
