Last night, August 17 around one o’clock, I was going east on Seventh Street, I had to make a right on Pitt Street. At the same time, what I see is that a police car is making a left on Seven Street, he immediately turned on the emergency lights, I thought that someone must have stopped.
When I started to make a complete right turn, I saw that the garbage can placed on the southwest corner had fallen down, and the policeman was coming out to straighten it and put the garbage that was out of it back into it.
I really liked seeing all of his action. Although it was not his job, he did it all the same.
I salute this constable of the Cornwall Police Service and wish him the best of luck and a thumbs up for him. We should always appreciate such actions so that others also get encouragement.
