MORRISBURG, February 2025: The Canadian Club of Morrisburg board of directors and President Anne Caza would like to announce that they are celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2025! To commemorate this centennial event, the club will be hosting guest speaker Canadian writer & explorer Adam Shoalts at their October 15th 2025 meeting.
The purpose of the Canadian Clubs is “to foster throughout Canada an interest in all matters of public concern in order to strengthen Canadian unity; to encourage the preservations and promotion of Canadian heritage and history; to increase knowledge and understanding of Canadians for the peoples of other nations.” It includes a dinner meeting and a guest speaker, who is invited to speak on issues of local, national, or international importance.
Club meetings take place on the third Wednesday of September, October, November, March, April and May annually. Annual membership for the six meetings is available to individuals or corporate sponsors, which includes the dinner, speaker and an informative evening. Meetings are held at the Morrisburg Legion.
