On Saturday May 09 2026, The Moose Lodge -Local 1367 Cornwall is extending an invite to all current and potential new members to a very special Mother’s Day Dinner and Dance which will serve up an amazing Chicken Parmesan Meal starting at 5:00 pm to 7:00PM. Then starting a 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Cornwall ‘s well know multi-talented artist Kevin Rivette will play all of your dancing favorites from all eras from the 40 to the 80’s.
What is so special about this is that the member mother’s will eat for free but are opening their doors to all mothers in the area to join this affordable night out for families who simply want to find an affordable solution to celebrate the incredible women in our daily lives that we have the privilege to call MOM, GRANDMA, or GREAT GRANDMA. And this only for a cost of $15 per person for all non-mother members or to the general public. And should you not be able to snag one of the 75 limited tickets, you are still invited to attend the dance portion of the evening which all are invited.
When approached by Andre Flaro, the event organizer for the Moose Lodge, Kevin Rivette gladly accepted to return to Cornwall for this one-night performance with a dedication of this special night to celebrate all moms.
“You will never know how precious your time with you mom is, until she is gone. I lost my beloved mom Mary on January 11, 2023 suddenly to a misdiagnosed leukemia disease and where I saw having birthday cake with her, to two weeks later spending Christmas and New Years in a Hospital by her bedside and seeing her only take her last breath only two weeks later. For me, it’s a daily journey of bereavement while remembering the special memories that I cherished most with her and with my beloved grandmother Irene as well who past only one year earlier of COVID complications. I know first hand as well as my dad and brother Jayson, and our extended families the precious moments we spent with our mom, grandma, great-grandma, friend and coworker and I just simply want to take this evening to allow my voice to entertain the participants of this night, allowing them to create beautiful memories with their moms and allow me to do the thing my mom appreciated the most – my musical talents!”
