FAIL TO COMPLY, OPERATION WHILE IMPAIRED

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old youth from Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 26, 2025, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs. It is alleged on Nov. 26, 2025, the youth was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to not be in the driver’s seat of any motor vehicle and to not possess any weapons. On this date, he was observed by Cornwall Police Service detectives to be operating a motor vehicle. The youth was subsequently taken into custody and further investigation revealed he was operating the motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and was in possession of an edged weapon. He was charged accordingly under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old man from Ottawa was arrested on Nov. 26, 2025, and charged with fail to comply with release order. It is alleged on Nov. 26, 2025, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not contact or communicate with his daughter. It is also alleged on this date, the man was in contact with his daughter. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY, THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE, POSSESSION PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 26, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of fail to comply with probation order
  • Two counts of theft of motor vehicle
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

On Jan. 2, 2024, police began investigating the theft of a motor vehicle. It is alleged on this date, the man was bound by probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged he stole an individual’s motor vehicle. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for the man’s arrest.

It is also alleged on Jan. 2, 2024, the man was once again bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is further alleged he attempted to steal a motor vehicle. As a result of the investigation, a second warrant was issued for the man’s arrest.

On Nov. 26, 2025, he attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed, the man was charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on Jan. 8, 2026.

WARRANT, DISGUISE WITH INTENT, BREAK AND ENTER, POSSESSION BREAK-IN INSTRUMENTS

Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old man from Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 27, 2025, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with the following:

  • Disguise with intent
  • Break and enter a place – commit indictable offence
  • Possession of break-in instruments

In the early morning hours of Oct. 31, 2025, police were dispatched to a McConnell Avenue business for an alarm call, and an investigation ensued. It is alleged on this date, the man, wearing a ski mask to conceal his identity, forced entry into the business by shattering the glass with an object. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Early on Nov. 27, 2025, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
