Ghost Walk For Charity Donates $24,000 To Three Local Groups

Baldwin House, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity were each presented with a cheque for $8,000 from the 2019 Ghost Walk For Charity.

The cheque presentations were made at the location of this year’s Ghost Walk, 1400 Vincent Massey Drive.

“The Ghost Walk continues to grow each year,” said Ghost Walk Committee Chairman Mike Turcotte.  “Because of the community’s support, we’ve been able to donate over $55,000 to local charities over the past three years.”

“Our committee is already looking forward to planning for next year’s Ghost Walk,” continued Turcotte. “We’d like to thank our sponsors, volunteers and of course everyone who enjoyed this year’s Ghost Walk.”

Thousands of people made their way through the Ghost Walk this year with some coming from Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston and Belleville.

The event has grown each year with $15,000 going to three local charities in 2017 and $16,500 to three non-profit groups in 2018 and $24,000 for 2019
