Canadian Mental Health Association Hosts Successful Fundraiser at Au Vieux Duluth

In a remarkable show of community and solidarity, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is hosting its annual fundraiser at Au Vieux Duluth, known for its inviting atmosphere and delicious cuisine. The event, which takes place today on a rainy day, drew numerous community members and sponsors thus far, all gathered for a noble cause: to support mental health initiatives.

Chantal Tessier, the Manager of Education and Volunteers at CMHA, expressed deep gratitude to all the attendees. She highlighted the critical impact of their support, which she described as essential for fueling life-changing efforts in mental health. “Every ticket purchased, every auction bid, and every donation fuels life-changing efforts,” Tessier noted, encapsulating the spirit of the event.

Special thanks and recognition was given to Alex, the owner of Au Vieux Duluth. His significant role and unwavering support are instrumental in the success of the fundraiser. The collaboration between CMHA and local businesses like Au Vieux Duluth exemplifies the power of community partnership in addressing vital social issues.

By midday, the goals set for the fundraiser had already been surpassed, a testament to the generosity and commitment of the participants.

The Seeker Chicks enjoyed a lovely lunch paired with fine wine, engaged in lively conversations, and relished a fantastic meal—all for a great cause. The atmosphere was not only festive but also imbued with a sense of purpose, reflecting the community’s dedication to supporting mental health.

The event is slated to continue until 9 PM, promising more opportunities for the community to contribute while enjoying the warm hospitality of Au Vieux Duluth. This successful gathering not only raises funds but also awareness, emphasizing the importance of mental health and the impact of community support in making a real difference.
