SLC Sharks Hockey Alumni Weekend kicks off April 5th!
Cornwall Ontario — We are only ten days away from the very first St. Lawrence College-Cornwall Sharks Hockey Alumni Weekend! Requests have already been sent to current and former Sharks women’s men’s hockey players for the two day event, kicking off on Friday April 5th, with a meet and greet on campus, where participants will register and receive their commemorative jersey, gift bag, and playing schedule for the games starting Saturday morning. Followed by a SHOOT TO WIN cash prize, capped off the a pub night in the Shark tank (at the Sharks Pub) that will have live music, midnight poutine bar, chances to win even more prizes, and time to catch up and reminisce with Sharks players.
Details have been confirmed for the SHOOT TO WIN cash prize, as five lucky contestants will enter a round robin elimination where they will have to shoot pucks into various areas of the rink. The last person standing will advance to the final round, where he/she will have a chance to win $10,000! This contestant will have 20 seconds to fire a minimum of 16 out of 20 pucks from the far/opposing blue line into the empty net at the other end of the rink.
