Cornwall Ontario — The Colts faced the Char-Lan Rebels in round 2 and disposed of them in two games, winning 4-2 and 4-1. Against South Stormont, in Game 1, the Colts fell 3-0 early in the first, but the team bounced back and won 7-5. Goals went to 6 different players: Brock Dazé, Mikael Dobson, Brian Landry(2), Alexis Roy, Ryan Thomas and Alex Primeau. Kris Villeneuve & Colin McDonald were once again pillars on the blue line blocking several shots and delivering numerous body hits

In Game 2, The Colts had a big order. The reliable blue liner Kyle Howes was away while sniper Dazé was out. Joey Lamarche was the gatekeeper for the Colts, facing the team that had released him early in the season. Lamarche was very solid early on with keys saves while the Colts took an 3-1 lead, but the Selects came back to steal it by a score or 4-3. Alex Primeau, Ryan Thomas & Max Paquette scored for the Colts.

In a do or die Game 3, the Colts went to work early and fast. Jeff Dobson scored the first of 4 unanswered goals while goalie Sam Dussault closed the gate.  Kyle Quesnel who saw limited action was a real team player by serving a minor penalty for Dussault & a major for Pilon. Kyle Howes landed in Montréal that day and drove directly to the rink to finish the game while Dazé and Primeau added 2 goals each and the Colts won 5-3 to move on the League Final which should start on the week-end!
