Cornwall Ontario — Last week Transition Cornwall+ screened the film “IN TRANSITION 2.0” by the originators of the Transition movement in Totnes, England. The screening took place at the Cornwall Public Library.

“We had a good response to the film and discussion about what people are doing, right on their own street to save money, cut carbon and strengthen neighborhoods”, said co-organizer John Towndrow.

This film told the story of resilience and hope in extraordinary times with examples of how people from around the world are responding to uncertain times with creativity, solutions and engaged optimism.

Also shown was an inspiring short clip called “START SOMETHING TOGETHER” with many ideas about how we can start saving money, cutting carbon and strengthening our neighborhoods right on our own street.
