Cornwall Ontario — The Cornwall Colts loss 5-3 Thursday night at home against Nepean. Cornwall was badly out shot in their first two games and wins, but ironically in a game where they out shot their opponents 56 to 28 they loss.

The Cornwall Colts had a rough start to the game. They were down 4-0 by the end of the first period, and Kenneth Neil scored his second of the game for Nepean 0:12 seconds into the second period.

Jordan Piccolino who made 51 saves the other night, and stole the first two games for the Cornwall Colts, had a difficult start only stopping 7 of 12 shots.

The Cornwall Colts did manage to score three unanswered goals, including a pair by league MVP Michael Pontarelli, but it simply wasn’t enough on this night.

The Cornwall Colts still lead the series, although Nepean has managed to cut that lead in half with their win tonight.
