get your summer shoesHi Everyone, Marlene here wishing that you had a most wonderful week… getting yourselves ready for SPRING/SUMMER.

Now, that Spring is finally here, it’s time  for you to be looking into your closets,  storage boxes, suitcases, into basements and even your attics for your Spring & Summer Shoes that were put away so many months ago. Also you can go looking to the  many Thrift stores  like the  Salvation Army, Agape, Value Village for very affordable  Spring/Summer footwear. Ardene’s is another place to shop for shoes and other cheap accessories.

TIME for the BOOTS to  be put away( until next Fall. Unless they are your “rubber boots,” for all the mud and water). Time for the FUN & COLOURFUL  Spring/Summer Shoes to be put on, for display.

SHOES are the “icing” to any  and every outfit. The “right shoe” can make or break a “Look”.  Shoes  can make us, ladies feel and look so good…  They  can make us feel sexy, naughty, giddy, younger… My! My! I’m going on and on!  I may like shoes  a little, too much!  What girl doesn’t??? hehe

Shoes have to fit you properly and have a heel that you can walk in and feel comfortable in. (most times!)

There are  “certain times,” where one has to wear a pair of shoes that are out of their “comfort zone” such as a prom, a wedding or a night out on the town, but you DO have to practice walking in them (at home) before the Special Event. Even now with changing from your  comfortable boots you should be “practicing” wearing your Spring shoes in and around at home getting your feet ready willing and able to wear the higher heels that your feet have not  been used to wearing after so many months in hibernation.

Time to paint your toes, Girls, and get your feet all prettied-up to be showcased in your Spring/Summer shoesies.

Until next week  Keep Smiling for after all, the Best Makeup is your “Smile”. There is no Beauty, like the one that comes from inside of you.

Editor’s Note:  Since snow and ice pellets decided to fall from the sky today, you should probably wait a few more weeks before actually wearing your summer shoes outdoors.  But as Marlene stated, get them out and start practicing!
