The Cornwall Power Dames

Cornwall Ontario — After over a year of blood, sweat and tears the Seaway Roller Derby Girls are proud to announce that their inaugural team, The Cornwall Power Dames are announcing their home game schedule starting with their home opener against The Rideau Valley Roller Girls Sirens on Saturday May 11th 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Benson Centre.

All other home games this season will all be played at the Long Sault Arena (60 Milles Roches, Long Sault, Ontario), include The Cornwall Power Dames hosting The Capital City Derby Dolls Dollinquents on June 8th at 7:00 pm, followed by The Rapids Roller Derby Wagon Burners on July 27th at 7:00 pm, the Northumberland Derby Girls on August 3rd at 7:00 pm and finally to finish the home season The Cornwall Power Dames will be hosting Peterborough Roller Derby’s own Jamazon’s on August 17th at 7:00 pm.

The Cornwall Power Dames also have a number of away games schedule for this season as well as The Fresh and the Furious tournament in Toronto taking place in July featuring 16 Roller Derby teams from Canada and the USA.  For more information please check www.seawayrollerderbygirls.com for tickets, pricing, away games schedule, fundraising and other events.

The Seaway Roller Derby Girls members, new and old, have worked extremely hard in the off-season learning the skills of Roller Derby so please come and join them at their games and support your local Roller Derby team!
