Naturally-DeliciousSpring is the time of the year when all comes to life again and new ideas are born as well. I am dreaming of so many new things that I could do with my passion…the possibilities are absolutely endless!! I love every new experience and opportunity that comes my way. It is exciting and fulfilling knowing that I am reaching people with my own unique style. Thanks to all of you for making me realize that I am on the right track, it is now time for me to really start taking chances and making this passion into something more…stay tuned…

This week I was invited to the Seaway Seniors Citizen Club to give a mini seminar on diabetes. It dealt with how you can prepare quick and easy recipes, mostly plant based to try to prevent the disease. The participants enjoyed the healthy treats as well as watched the amazing health documentary “Simply Raw”.

healthnut*I love volunteering with the Teens at the Boys and Girls Club. We had a blast preparing our “Around the World” themed meal. They all did their part in creating Vegetable Nachos (Mexico), Double Decker sandwiches (England), Croque-monsieur (France) and mini pizzas (Italy)…let’s just say there was nothing left….great appetites!

They surprised me with this token of appreciation for their volunteers…it really touched me and I will cherish it forever. The inside note had the Club’s kids holding the words “Thank You..You rock!!!”

*Lisa Blanchard, owner of Spirit Tree Yoga Studio (above Echo Trends on Pitt Street), will be holding an Open House , TODAY, Friday April 26th….5 to 8 pm …. I will be there as a vendor as well as other downtown vendors. There will be a Yoga Wear fashion show at 6pm…come and see all that this beautiful, one of a kind studio has to offer.

*Happy 15th Birthday to our son Alex that celebrated his special day on April 22nd (Earth Day). We are so very proud of him and all that he represents. We wish him all the best and may all of his dreams come true. Live out your passion son and share your talents…the world is your canvas, celebrate your greatness!!
