MP Guy Lauzon Announces EODP Funding for Winchelsea Events

Winchelsea EODP AnnouncementWinchester Ontario — Local Member of Parliament MP Guy Lauzon announced today that Winchelsea Events in North Dundas will receive funding through the Eastern Ontario Development Program. Winchelsea Events will receive $50,000 to expand their operations and create new jobs in the local community.

“I am very pleased to see local businesses like Winchelsea Events being supported by the EODP” said MP Lauzon. “This expansion will create new, permanent jobs and help support the local economy. Our government is a firm believer that small business is the backbone of our economy and this support helps to strengthen our commitment to seeing them prosper and grow in Eastern Ontario.”

The SD&G Community Futures Development Corporation administers the Eastern Ontario Development Fund as part of a Contribution Agreement with the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario. The three year agreement, ending March 31, 2014, provides the SD&G CFDC with $1,934,400.
