14525229.thbMichelle, with the help of local film maker Vince Pilon, is putting together a short video based on a poem she wrote in reaction to the syrian crisis. She is trying to amass a group of people to help recite it. They are meeting at OBO studio today at 7pm.
Michelle is looking for people of all backgrounds to get a room full of people to join in the recital, the more voices the better. The more diversity in age & ethnicity the better!
This is not to be used in any way as a political tool but merely an artistic reaction to these atrocities to humanity.
The poem goes like this:
A sad
Assad
A sad state
Assad state
A sad state of affairs
Syria-sly
OBO studio is located in the old Standard-Freeholder building, 44 Pitt St., Cornwall.
Just go up the stairs at the front entrance & you’ll find the studio located down the hall at the very back of the building.
Please join in at OBO studio this Wednesday Sept. 18 at 7pm.
