memorytreeBereaved Families of Ontario – Cornwall & area will be marking the holiday season with the lighting of our Memory Tree, once again.  Special guests, The Centennial Choir, will perform for this occasion.

Bereaved Families invite you, your family and friends, to join us on Sunday, December 1st at 1:00pm for the Tree Lighting ceremony at Cornwall Square.  We also encourage you to complete a Memorial Tag, as part of the ceremony; everyone will have the opportunity to hang their memorial tag on the tree, symbolizing their love for those who will not be with them this Holiday Season.

The Holiday Season is often the most difficult time of year for families who have experienced the death of a loved one.  The Memory Tree can provide families a touching and visible way of acknowledging the loss of a loved one.  Extra memorial tags can be picked up at the Bereavement Centre and will also be available at the Memory Tree at Cornwall Square prior to the lighting on December 1st.

This Memory Tree will be displayed throughout the month of December thanks to Cornwall Square.  Volunteers will be manning the Memory Tree from Monday, December 2nd to Sunday, December 22nd from 11am to 8pm weekdays and 11am to 5pm on weekends.
